Skiing into the skyline at the Lake Louise Ski Resort

Ski Big 3 Lake LousieIn the midst of the sweeping vistas located in Canada’s beautiful Banff National park is the incredible, snow-capped ski resort of Lake Louise.  Set in the heart of the mountains, and with more paths than can be skied or snowboarded in a week, the Lake Louise resort really is a pristine winter wonderland.

With 4200 acres of tracks, ramps, obstacles and jumps galore, as well as heaps of off piste ski space, the Lake Louise ski and snowboard resort promises to be bigger, better and more fun for everyone.

As well as having one of the largest terrain parks in western Canada, the intensity and fun of this mountain has been maximised through provision of top quality gear, and a guarantee that at least one green run has been allotted out of the multiple runs from each chairlift in order to allow everyone the opportunity to ski and snowboard around, and explore the whole spacious Lake Louise mountain to their hearts content.

For the more skilled ski and snowboarders, the Lake Louise resort prides that on top of this, there are many set and changing obstacles to ensure that tracks are varied and kept challenging every single time.

Shona Headshot

Nestled at the bottom of a vast mountainous landscape of Alberta summits, Lake Louise is unmistakably the most photographed scene in the Canadian Rockies.  As its famous emerald lake transforms into an ice skating wonderland in the winter months, the uniqueness of this stunning countryside is just the beginning of the many reasons why Lake Louise such a crowd pleaser.

If your budget can stretch to the Fairmont in a Lakeview Room, I’d highly recommend it! Shona – Amped
